Today in a nut shell…
Great day
Worst day
Best most amazingly wonderful day
Now in going to bed with the biggest smile on my face.
Quite a day I must say.
Goodnight world 💤✌😍
Someday I’ll be living in a big old city
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean
Someday I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so mean?
All you are is mean…And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life and mean
and don’t you ever fucking call me again =)
I saw my great aunt Fran for the last time today.
From the hall I could see her laying in the hospital bed. I smiled and almost ran right into the room. My mom stopped me and pointed out a precautionary sign outside the door.
We had to put on gowns, gloves and a mask… That’s when I started getting emotional. Her speech was broken and she looked weak. She perked up as we stayed longer and she managed to make jokes. I stayed quiet.
My mom started talking about me and my plans for the future and aunt Fran looked at me and managed to say “will you sing for me” right there I almost broke down . I held in my tears and walked to her bedside. “what do you want to hear aunt Fran?” I said staring at the shingles on her neck and shoulder. I quickly looked back down. “whatever you want sweet heart” she grabbed my hand and held it tight. It was getting harder to hold back my tears. I knew what song I wanted to sing. I began singing shower the people. Nurses crowded around the door with tears in their eyes. I held her hand and sang through the mask covering my mouth and nose. She smiled and thanked me
We stayed a little longer. The last words.
- You have to get better Aunt Fran. You must come to my graduation party. You have to get better.
- ill try sweet heart
- I love you aunt Fran
- I love you too sweet heart
… It’s just a matter of time now.
